We now have the back door installed and all but two downstairs windows in, and those two will have to wait until the chinking is finished on the front of the house. The plan is to finish the board and batten on the back first and then finish the front. We are waiting for the logs to dry a bit more before we chink to prevent gaps in the chinking. We are also looking into different options for the gutters, weighing price, quality, and feasibility (there are some less than conventional ideas in the mix).
