Aluminet on Camper

Yesterday we were able to get the aluminet on the camper. Roy and a friend built the frame (aluminet needs to “float”) and then I helped him lay out and staple the aluminet. We are expecting it to ease the workload of the airconditioner, but there is no way for us to accurately measure the extent. We can tell a difference in the container – it makes it more bearable in 100+ degree temperatures.

While I was on the roof of the camper, I took some pictures looking down at the container, and it shows the criss-cross framework that holds the aluminet up. You can also see the pebble pouch weights going down the side.
