Over the weekend, we were blessed to have a brother come to visit as well as a friend who comes regularly to lend some man power to this operation. We took advantage of the triple man power and we got a lot done. A couple of nice big logs were sawn into interior boards and sticked to dry, which usually takes a few months, but because this is thin wood, we are hoping it dries much faster. We stained the boards that the girls put up over Christmas, got the third window put in and the rest of the trim work on the west side finished, and put up another row of logs on the front of the house.
