The foundation wall and piers were finished today. Only a few more steps before the house itself gets started…we have to fill the holes in the blocks that contain the rebar (as seen in previous post) and digging out a few inches of the dirt “floor” that will be under the house. The first will finish strengthening the foundation and the later will provide more room under the house for crawling around when needed and for storage. We are actually planning on putting the water heater under the house to save space inside. I guess tomorrow we pour and Saturday we dig!
