We have just been waiting…and waiting…regulations, paperwork, rain, inspection  concerns, and the list of obstacles seems to be eternal. Yesterday, we finally got our foundation materials delivered, after calling the company 3 times to change the date of delivery. We are expecting clear skies all next week, so Roy has taken Tuesday off and has a backhoe reserved at the rental place. We have 8 hours of run time to get all the trenches and holes dug for the pillars and foundation block. After that, rebar, inspection, concrete, block, another inspection, and then the building can really begin! (Followed of course by more inspections…how I hate government regulations…and we are miles outside the police jurisdiction).
