Plans are moving along for the house construction. Roy has signed the permits and gotten the go-ahead from the inspection office. There were a few modifications,  more expenses, and lots of silly rules. We should be able to start as soon as the people and equipment we need are available. Roy has a friend, also Roy, who is going to help him cut down a sweetgum tree right at the back of the site. It will take considerable engineering and I will be glad when they are safely done. A man with a backhoe is next on the list, and then it will truly feel like we’ve gotten started. Stay tuned!
