This is the beginnings of our marvellous chicken coop that Roy calls the Taj Machicken. Of course it started out a lot smaller and a lot simpler than it ended up due to revisions we made after we selected the site. Roy used what he calls “pig trough” construction. It is the simplest and most efficient way I have ever seen. We are hoping to get the construction finished up tomorrow, then the run, staining, etc. I’ll post more pictures as we progress.
